Union J – Tonight (We Live Forever)

UJ

British foursome Union J are back with their newest single ‘Tonight (We Live Forever)’, which is set to feature on their second studio album and is already reaching great success after entering the iTunes Top 100 Chart through pre-order sales alone!

Union J

Union J, who are more popularly known for their time on the ninth series of The X Factor – consists of JJ Hamblett, Josh Cuthbert, George Shelley and Jaymi Hensley (Left to Right), who will be releasing their newest track on August 17th.

Tonight (We Live Forever) is an optimistic and bubbly track, which has the makings of a single worthy of a Number 1 chart position!

This uptempo track is a perfect summer anthem, which we know you will be blasting for a while.

The lads have said: “The track sums up what Union J are about it terms of our sound and it also reflects who we are together – a group of friends having the time of our lives.” – Which is pretty easy to see when watching the incredible music video.

Although Union J’s newest track is completely different to the single’s released from their debut album, we expect the lads to be receiving the same amount of success!

Tonight (We Live Forever) has already raced through the charts before it’s official release, so we have no doubt that this track will soon be bouncing into the UK charts!

Union J are currently planning a 2015 UK tour, so make sure to keep up to date with us, here at Brumotions – and we’ll bring you the details ASAP!

Hollywood Ending didn’t let us down!

Hollywood Ending impressed a sold out crowd at their gig at the O2 Academy3 in Birmingham on Sunday night, much to the delight of their dedicated fans and Room94 who made a surprise visit after their support slot in the room next door!

The foursome from various locations in both the UK and USA came to Birmingham as part of their tour across the UK on ‘The Anywhere Tour!’

The group, consisting of Chris, Tyler, Danny and Cameron (Left to Right) made sure to keep the energetic crowd entertained and wanting more with a range of songs from their EP: ‘Anywhere’, including ‘Good Time Girl’ and ‘Not Another Song About Love’.

The impressive set also contained a number of hilarious sections where the band and the crowd laughed along with one another – like when the lads spoke to ‘god’ who was watching the show from above to hear the boys perform their ‘Grocery Store Rap’.

Although the group entertained and impressed with their relentless energy and catchy tunes, attendees were stood waiting for an hour for the first support act to arrive – though it is speculated that another support act skipped out on the show.

The group, more popularly known for supporting McBusted during their gigantic tour across the UK, sold out the venue with a range of older and newer fans who shared appreciation over the talent of the group and the electric atmosphere showed how ecstatic they were to see the boys live!

Hollywood Ending started their magnificent set with one of their first singles ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ and rounded it off with their newest single ‘Freak Like Me’!

We would definitely recommend going to see these hilarious and incredibly talented group as they did not let us down! – They have the talent and an impressive setlist to make it far!

Introducing Rewind…

Here at Brumotions it’s no secret that we LOVE a good boyband and we recently discovered a Scottish band with heaps of potential that will not disappoint… and yes ladies they have those cute Scottish accents that will send you giddy!

Rewind made up of James, Jack, Lewis, Ryan and Kieran (see below image, Left to Right) are beginning to take over the UK music scene with their cheeky personalities, great chemistry and just as incredible vocals.

1795319_479566232188590_4234388097277322879_o

This week we got the chance to see the band perform in Birmingham and we were very impressed with their mix of original songs and covers of crowd favourites including Robin Thicke’s – Blurred Lines, as well as their energetic performance and stage presence leaving many of the teen audience swooning and wanting to learn more about this new band who had previously gone relatively unheard of in the Birmingham area.

Rewind recently released a cover of 5 Seconds of Summer’s number one hit ‘She Looks So Perfect’ and have gone on to upload original songs ‘She Said’ and ‘Out Of My League’ which you can check out below.

We love what these boys are producing and it’s nice to see a band trying to ‘take on the world’ without TV Talent shows. Here at Brumotions we are looking forward to hearing more from this boyband in the near future, make sure to ‘Follow’ them on twitter, ‘Subscribe’ to their YouTube and ‘Like’ them on Facebook.

Although we – here at Brumotions – had listened to these guys nearly two years ago. We finally gained the chance to see them live at this years OMG Live event in Birmingham (alongside Union J and Lawson).

But don’t you guys worry!

Loving Union J is Easy!

With an incredible line-up planned throughout the day and night, OMG Live was nothing short of a success as the Forum Live stage at the LG Arena was jam packed on Thursday night!

The event – with joint headliners Lawson and Union J – held an electric atmosphere with fans being able to alternate between seeing their favourite artists, some fresh faces on the music scene or stand in the sun of ‘The Yard’ with an amazing DJ set!

But like the majority of those attending the event, we made sure to see the incredible group that is… Union J!

Embedded image permalink

The quartet, consisting of Josh, George, Jaymi and JJ grew in success during their time on Series 9 of the X Factor UK and have since released their debut album and three singles, which have all reached the Top 10 in the UK.

Fans were ecstatic to see the boys perform in Birmingham once again and were thoroughly entertained as the lads proceeded to have a laugh with one another much to the delight of their dedicated J-Cats.

Union J impressed with their relentless energy and obviously catchy tunes, making the atmosphere in the arena electric as their fans screamed the lyrics back at them, from the various songs they performed from their debut, self-titled album, including: ‘Beethoven’, ‘Head in the Clouds’ and ‘Lucky Ones’.

The groups second and third singles, ‘Beautiful Life’ and ‘Loving You Is Easy’ rounded off their incredible setlist – which was unfortunately too short for our liking as only 7 songs were performed.

Union J are definitely a group that people need to experience a live performance of.

They’re great fun, especially when showing their individual personalities, and also with great voices and incredibly catchy tunes, you will not be disappointed!

With the promise of a second album on the way, make sure to keep an eye out!

You can also see them at this years Fusion Festival! Tickets are on sale NOW!

Nobody does it like Lawson!

lawson

Many teens flocked to OMG Live yesterday at the LG Arena – Forum Live stage, for the event which featured both up and coming musicians, DJ’s and some of the finest names in pop including Ollie Marland and Hollywood Ending, to name a few.

The event was also joint headlined with Union J, where the night ended with possibly the most attractive band in pop – Lawson.

The band, consisting of Joel, Andy, Adam and Ryan burst onto the pop scene after gigging around the country and gaining a dedicated following of Geese (yes- the animal).

The band worked up the crowd with their high energy performance giving the venue an electric atmosphere. Fans were ecstatic to see the band after their time away from the spotlight to write their new material in which Front man, Andy Brown promises will be great.

Lawson make their performances look effortless, mixed with their great vocals and contagious personalities and stage presence just shows they belong on the stage, entertaining their adoring fans.

Lawson captivated the mainly teen female audience, with an array of their hits including, first single ‘When She Was Mine’, ‘Brokenhearted’ and ‘Learn to Love again’ mixed in with a surprise mash up cover of Swedish House Mafia’s – ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ and Flo Rida’s -‘Good Feeling’ which left the crowd wanting more.

Ryan Fletcher to upload

The boys seemed stunned by the crowd reaction to their third single, Standing in the Dark, where they stopped and listened to the crowd sing the verse and chorus before continuing to play, showing their appreciation to the fans.

Unfortunately, their set list only consisted of 6 songs, which left us wanting more of Lawson.  The event felt a little rushed near the end as it was running over schedule meaning many had to leave early missing Lawson’s most recent single ‘Juliet’ which was a great ending to a great set.

Here at Brumotions we recommend that you see Lawson Live especially on their own tour as they are talented and know how to entertain and play an exciting live show.

Lawson are currently writing new material, and their new single will be out soon!

You can also see them at this years Fusion Festival! Tickets are on sale NOW!

We give their performance 5/5 Microphones!

VMG Live shows Wolverhampton really does have talent!

vmg picture

Yesterday, hundreds of screaming girls attended View My Gig Live in Wolverhampton featuring some of the country’s finest new music talent, raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust and they were not disappointed.

Aiden

Fans were treated to an array of performances from up and coming artists including singer and guitarist Joseph Neal, Aiden Hancock and Liberty Grant who opened the event with a powerful rendition of ‘Say Something’ by Christina Aguilera, with other artists including the extremely talented, Marc Williams and Leo Golden Child plus special guests.

marc

The second View My Gig Live had many highlights including an exclusive duet with crowd favourites Josh Brennan and Alex Wallhead who left the crowd wanting more. Another highlight was Luke Towler, who was a firm fan favourite who livened up the crowd with his rendition of 5 Seconds of Summer – She Looks So Perfect whilst also making fans swoon by singing in both English and Spanish.Luke

Many fans got the chance to meet their idols, take photos and have a chat both before and after the artists sets, the gig was relaxed where artists joined the crowd to support other artists on stage.

jordy

The event was headlined by last year’s Britain’s Got Talent finalist Jordan O’Keefe who impressed the crowd with his raw vocal talent and use of loop pedal which provided a unique twist to his set. Jordan wowed the crowd with a range of both covers and original songs making them his own proving he definitely has talent.

Although many fans by this point seemed disinterested, Jordan was a great choice for headline act, showcasing great talent and stage presence and we recommend you go and see him live!

Here at Brumotions we give the overall gig 4/5 Microphones!

Introducing Kingsland Road…

Here at Brumotions, we absolutely LOVE finding new musicians and it’s even better when we find a good boyband…

We can call them that right?

We not so recently discovered the uber talented Kingsland Road, you might all know them from this year’s X-Factor, where the group hip-thrusted their way to the live shows (of course we couldn’t miss that) and we absolutely love them.

kingslandtoputonblog

Made up of Connor, Thompson,Jay, Josh and last, but definitely not least Matt! (See order above)

Kingsland Road are infectious, upbeat and bring the life and soul of the party.

After leaving X-Factor, the boys have been recording like mad with top names including those behind some of Mcfly’s hits!

The boys have also been performing around the country for fans and have even produced a cover of Ellie Goulding’s Burn! (Video Below).

Kingsland Road aren’t your clean cut One Direction type of band … but that’s why we love them!
