UJ

British foursome Union J are back with their newest single ‘Tonight (We Live Forever)’, which is set to feature on their second studio album and is already reaching great success after entering the iTunes Top 100 Chart through pre-order sales alone!

Union J

Union J, who are more popularly known for their time on the ninth series of The X Factor – consists of JJ Hamblett, Josh Cuthbert, George Shelley and Jaymi Hensley (Left to Right), who will be releasing their newest track on August 17th.

Tonight (We Live Forever) is an optimistic and bubbly track, which has the makings of a single worthy of a Number 1 chart position!

This uptempo track is a perfect summer anthem, which we know you will be blasting for a while.

The lads have said: “The track sums up what Union J are about it terms of our sound and it also reflects who we are together – a group of friends having the time of our lives.” – Which is pretty easy to see when watching the incredible music video.

Although Union J’s newest track is completely different to the single’s released from their debut album, we expect the lads to be receiving the same amount of success!

Tonight (We Live Forever) has already raced through the charts before it’s official release, so we have no doubt that this track will soon be bouncing into the UK charts!

Union J are currently planning a 2015 UK tour, so make sure to keep up to date with us, here at Brumotions – and we’ll bring you the details ASAP!

Rough Copy – ‘Street Love’

After wowing the general public on the 2013 series of The X Factor with their smooth vocals, fun personalities and street style, Rough Copy are set to burst onto the music scene with their debut single, Street Love!

The London trio made up of Kazeem, Joey and Sterling, now signed to Epic Records, offer a re-working of 80s classic ‘Sweet Love’ by Anita Baker, with a twist in the verses showcasing their new musical style and a lot of personality.

Street Love is instantly catchy and offers a great opening tune, which is extremely memorable, especially if you know the original track – it quickly builds to produce an energetic, party vibe.

However, it seems to fall flat from the initial build and the chorus leaves us feeling underwhelmed compared to that of the catchy verses.

The video, teamed with the song, show the three lads chasing a beautiful woman down the street to no avail, which is completely cliche. However, the lads ensure to show their personalities and the track fits the video perfectly with it’s R’n’B, urban feel.

Overall, this song is bound to achieve success and is easy on the ears, especially with the 80s vibe and has left us singing along with the track on repeat. We do, however, hope that the lads have some more tracks on their way with some of those incredible harmonies that featured during their time on the X Factor.

M.A.D – ‘Shotgun’

With the boyband phenomenon still sweeping the country, there are many young, next generation boybands appearing, wishing to steal the hearts of the teenage population.

Here at Brumotions, we are always on the look out for new music to tell all of you about so you can feast your ears on it, which helped us discover M.A.D, who you can also catch appearing in this weeks Brumotions Playlist of the Week!

M.A.D. for it: Band members Dan, Michael and Ben.

M.A.D, a trio made up of Dan Lewis from South Wales, Michael Sutthakorn from Northern Ireland and Ben ‘AB’ Pryer from London (Left to Right) – are back with their newest single ‘Shotgun’ after achieving incredible success in the Top 40 chart with their debut single ‘Toyboy’ and their second single ‘Fame & TV’, which were both released and achieved ONLINE!

Shotgun is bubblegum pop at its finest!

The track is likeable with a memorable and upbeat tune, which will leave a smile on your face and is perfect for a younger audience.

However, we can’t help but feel that the song is slightly repetitive and bland in comparison to other songs gracing the charts at the moment. We also notice their newest tune bares a close resemblance to ‘Angel with a Shotgun’ by The Cab.

With that being said, the band have boyish good looks, which combined with their inoffensive lyrics and energetic video with love declarations, leave many girls wishing they could ride shotgun with the band.

M.A.D have already amassed a large online following and are a group to watch out for this year! We are sure they will continue to grow as a band and produce a more mature sound that we are sure everyone will love (including us)!

Shotgun is out NOW! And can be purchased on ITunes!

Neon Jungle – ‘Welcome to the Jungle’

After taking over the UK and US with their singles Trouble and Braveheart, British girlband Neon Jungle are back with their third single, Welcome to the Jungle.

Made up of Shereen, Asami, Jessica and Amira, these girls are definitely one’s to watch out for as their sassy, electro-pop tunes are catchy, and memorable and you can dance to them all night long!

Although we love the single and we have no doubt it will be trapped in our heads for days to come, we were slightly disappointed in the lack of breakdown during the chorus.

The catchy track’s beat grows throughout the song, hinting towards a great breakdown during the chorus, but instead the flow is completely cut off and remains very simplistic before repeating itself.

What would have made a great electro-pop song – played in numerous clubs worldwide, with incredible vocals, which people are able to pin to the quartet instantly – was cut when the beat dropped to the simplistic and simply boring beat.

With the girls taking turns to show off their vocal ability through the song and even including a rap, we can’t help but dance along to the record as the ladies belt out the lyrics: “Boy, can you make me growl/With the wild things on the prowl/Welcome to the jungle”.

We have no doubt that the single will be trapped in your head for weeks to come.

Neon Jungle are definitely a group to look out for with great vocal talent and the ability to release good tracks!

Introducing Kingsland Road…

Here at Brumotions, we absolutely LOVE finding new musicians and it’s even better when we find a good boyband…

We can call them that right?

We not so recently discovered the uber talented Kingsland Road, you might all know them from this year’s X-Factor, where the group hip-thrusted their way to the live shows (of course we couldn’t miss that) and we absolutely love them.

kingslandtoputonblog

Made up of Connor, Thompson,Jay, Josh and last, but definitely not least Matt! (See order above)

Kingsland Road are infectious, upbeat and bring the life and soul of the party.

After leaving X-Factor, the boys have been recording like mad with top names including those behind some of Mcfly’s hits!

The boys have also been performing around the country for fans and have even produced a cover of Ellie Goulding’s Burn! (Video Below).

Kingsland Road aren’t your clean cut One Direction type of band … but that’s why we love them!

Here are a few of our favourite Kingsland Road videos:
