We’d cross Bridges for EofE!

On November 15th, EofE returned to Birmingham for their very own headline tour, much to the delight of their dedicated fans, most of which waited over 8 hours to see the lads perform.

The Black Country based band came to perform a sold-out show in Birmingham as part of their Unleashed Tour, which comes after the lads supported McBusted and The Vamps only month before.

The group, consisting of Luke, Nicky, Tom, Reece and last, but certainly not least Dan (Left to Right), entertained the highly dedicated group of fans in the sold-out, packed venue with a range of original and cover tracks, including ‘If Only Your Boyfriend Knew’ and Adele’s ‘Rolling in the Deep’.

However, before the young pop rocks graced the stage with their incredible performance and addicting stage presence, Of Kings and Captains, The Fuse and McFly’s Danny Jones’ sister VIX, all of which wowed the ecstatic crowd with their support sets.

The venue became completely deafening when the lads finally emerged on stage, kicking off with their debut single Lust, which reached number eight in the UK rock singles chart.

The lads energetic set featured a number of incredible tracks, all of which seemed to be fan favourites, judging by the crowds reactions as they erupted into cheers at the beginning of each track and proceeded to scream the lyrics back to the boys throughout.

SAM_0057

The incredibly talented band made sure that the crowd were thoroughly entertained with a short rendition of Fall Out Boy’s ‘Sugar, we’re goin’ down’ straight after their lively performance of their own track ‘Kiss me like you mean it’ and a number of other tracks!

EofE rounded off their amazing performance with their newest release ‘Bridges’, which is available to download for free on the bands website – So make sure you check that out and download it while you can!

We definitely recommend going to see the EofE lads live as they have a bright future ahead of them, with a possible debut album on the way and an already impressive arsenal of tracks; no doubt it’ll be an incredible night much like this one!

BREAKING NEWS: Lorde named Billboard’s hottest music star under 21?

17-year-old Royals singer Lorde, has officially been named as the hottest music star under 21 by Billboard.

lorde 1

Lorde, whose real name is Ella Yelich-O’Connor, managed to beat a number of chart topping stars to reach the top spot on the annual list – With Australian band 5 Seconds of Summer in second and Justin Bieber gaining third place!

Billboard said that as well as the New Zealander’s musical releases, she had “consistently demonstrated an influence that extends well beyond music, championing an image free of touch-ups and letting young girls know that they don’t have to dress provocatively to capture the public’s attention.”

Billboard’s statement bought light back to when the young star tweeted two photos, one unedited and the other touched-up to rid her of flaws:

Rounding off the top five were Martin Garrix and Fifth Harmony (a girl group initially formed on X Factor US).

Lorde’s mum has since congratulated her by posting a photo of her daughter on Instagram, captioned: “@Billboard’s ‘Most Powerful Young Popstar for 2014’ – congratulations, Ella.”

The singer tweeted in response: “:) thanks mum (and @billboard ).”

We can’t help but agree with Billboard’s choice and we can’t wait to see what Lorde brings the world next!

Sing with Mike Dignam!

Mike Dignam impressed at his gig at the Institute in Birmingham last night, which was packed with a number of the young musician’s highly dedicated fans.

The Preston-born singer/songwriter came to the UK’s second city as part of his tour across the UK on his ‘Sing With Me’ tour.

SAM_0025

Dignam entertained the enthusiastic crowd with a range of songs that feature on the various EP’s, he has released throughout his career this far, including ‘Keep Up Lady’ and ‘Young’.

Though the setlist was expected to be an acoustic performance, fans were thrilled to find Dignam performing with a band. This fact didn’t change much though as fans continued to sing and clap along with the fantastic tracks (as they did with the support acts), while all standing in a very relaxed environment with a shared enjoyment of the performance.

After holding a competition to allow various fans or undiscovered musicians to support him at different shows during the tour. Birmingham voted and received two great musicians in the form of John Adam and Natasha North, who both completed amazing acoustic sets, which the fans happily listened to.

SAM_0023

Dignam, who has recently finished a tour with Tich and another support slot during 5 Seconds of Summer’s UK AND Australian tour, made sure to entertain the fans by playing a number of his older and more well-known tracks, including ‘Great Escape’.

We would definitely recommend seeing the talented young man live as his tracks are incredibly catchy and will have everyone singing along.

Brumotions gives his performance 4/5 Microphones!
