We’d cross Bridges for EofE!

On November 15th, EofE returned to Birmingham for their very own headline tour, much to the delight of their dedicated fans, most of which waited over 8 hours to see the lads perform.

The Black Country based band came to perform a sold-out show in Birmingham as part of their Unleashed Tour, which comes after the lads supported McBusted and The Vamps only month before.

The group, consisting of Luke, Nicky, Tom, Reece and last, but certainly not least Dan (Left to Right), entertained the highly dedicated group of fans in the sold-out, packed venue with a range of original and cover tracks, including ‘If Only Your Boyfriend Knew’ and Adele’s ‘Rolling in the Deep’.

However, before the young pop rocks graced the stage with their incredible performance and addicting stage presence, Of Kings and Captains, The Fuse and McFly’s Danny Jones’ sister VIX, all of which wowed the ecstatic crowd with their support sets.

The venue became completely deafening when the lads finally emerged on stage, kicking off with their debut single Lust, which reached number eight in the UK rock singles chart.

The lads energetic set featured a number of incredible tracks, all of which seemed to be fan favourites, judging by the crowds reactions as they erupted into cheers at the beginning of each track and proceeded to scream the lyrics back to the boys throughout.

The incredibly talented band made sure that the crowd were thoroughly entertained with a short rendition of Fall Out Boy’s ‘Sugar, we’re goin’ down’ straight after their lively performance of their own track ‘Kiss me like you mean it’ and a number of other tracks!

EofE rounded off their amazing performance with their newest release ‘Bridges’, which is available to download for free on the bands website – So make sure you check that out and download it while you can!

We definitely recommend going to see the EofE lads live as they have a bright future ahead of them, with a possible debut album on the way and an already impressive arsenal of tracks; no doubt it’ll be an incredible night much like this one!

BREAKING NEWS: Justin Bieber and Cody Simpson announce duets album?

What’s better than a Cody Simpson album? and What is better than a Justin Bieber album?

How about a Justin Bieber AND Cody Simpson duets album!

That’s right guys! Cody announced the big news earlier and like most people, we did not see this coming. However, that doesn’t make us any less excited!

After many teasing Instagram pictures and tweets, many figured that the two biggest acts in pop were working on a song together, but it’s going to be a dream come true as two gorgeous lads are instead working on an entire album!

In an interview with The Sydney Daily Telegraph, Cody said that he and JB teamed up for the duets album and that it will be released sometime in November.

“It is a smack bang duets [album],” he said. “Justin has been a good mate of mine for a while. It’s just us writing. He told me he felt like I’d figured myself out and have grown into what he knows I will be so he was like, ‘I see you as that guitarist, singer-songwriter you’ve always wanted to be.'”

However, Cody said that he and Justin are “definitely different people and come from different places and different worlds.” But mentioned that they are both working well together and that he has always been “extremely cool and gracious” towards him.

No other details have been released about the duets album other than it’s November release date, although Cody has posted a short teasing clip of his new music on Instagram, which you can check out below!

Let us know your opinions on this new announcement? Are you excited for the Cody Simpson and Justin Bieber album collaboration?

Rixton – ‘Me and My Broken Heart’

Everyone LOVES a good boyband right?

Here at Brumotions, we have been trawling the internet to find some of the best new offerings in the boyband stakes and we rediscovered a band who have been on our radar for a few years – Rixton.

The band made up of Jake Roche – Singer and Rhythm Guitarist, Danny Wilkin – Bass/Keys & Backing Vocals, Charley Bagnall – Lead Guitarist & Backing Vocals and Lewi Morgan – Drums, burst onto the music scene with catchy pop song ‘Make Out’ last year and are back with their debut single said to make a splash both in the UK and The States ‘Me And My Broken Heart’ released July 13th.

The band have gained a large online following through covers of pop songs such as Taylor Swift’s – ‘Trouble’ and Chris Brown’s – ‘Don’t Wake Me Up’ which helped them get noticed and signed by Scooter Braun who has worked with the likes of Justin Bieber, Cody Simpson and one of our favourite boybands, The Wanted.

Me and My Broken Heart is a great, easy listening, pop tune which leaves you singing along for hours to come and it’s refreshing to hear that Rixton play their own instruments, meaning they are definitely ones to watch out for with more than just vocal talent.
The video is a good addition to the song telling the story of the bands plight to win the girl, but the boys are quickly caught up in a con, alongside a number of clips from an energetic, live performance.

However, after leaving the UK and focusing their musical efforts in the USA, we Brumoters can’t help but think ‘who are Rixton’ and what makes them different… we would like to see them live and maybe find out more!

Check out the track below and let us know what you think!

The Vamps ARE somebody to us!

Yesterday afternoon, The Vamps held a surprise show in Birmingham for hundreds of fans, who couldn’t have been more excited to see the group perform in the city once again.

Bradley Simpson, Connor Ball, James McVey and Tristan Evans worked in association with Free Radio to plan the exclusive event, held in the Rainbow pub in Digbeth, within only 24 hours.

The lads sang all of their released singles, including their newest track ‘Somebody to You’ and their version of Simon & Garfunkel’s ‘Cecilia’, much to the excitement of their highly dedicated fans, some of which had waiting from 1:30am that morning!

Although their performance was impressive and enjoyable to sing along to and the Q&A session held in the centre of their set had the fans joking along with the lads, the long wait for fans was wrapped up in a half hour event.

The band are set to embark of their own UK tour in September and October this year (with another being planned for next year!), which features a scheduled performance at Birmingham’s NIA on October 5th. You can also catch the lads at this years Fusion Festival!

We recommend seeing their group live, especially with a longer setlist, with more tracks from their debut album ‘Meet The Vamps’.

Capital Exposed The Vamps

400 lucky Vampette’s attended the Capital Exposed event featuring The Vamps in Birmingham at South and City College yesterday afternoon and were not disappointed.

The group, based from various locations across the UK – performed at the Secret Location to raise money for ‘Help A Capital Child’.

The quartet consisting of Tristan, James, Connor and Birmingham’s own Brad (Left to Right) captivated their dedicated fans who managed to get one of the 300 tickets available online or one of the 100 tickets won through competitions.

Although the group’s set was impressive and the crowd were entertained with the live recorded advertisements, the set was short and only three songs were played, including: ‘Wildheart’ and ‘Last Night’.

Throughout the event, fans were able to win some band merchandise, everyone received free tickets to Alton Towers and one lucky fan managed to meet the band backstage!

The band are soon embarking on their own UK tour, for which tickets go on sale on April 26th, we recommend seeing this group live, especially with a longer setlist – the lads have the talent and already have a large following to make it far!
