All about McBusted!

After facing their own demons in their own band counterparts and selling out a number of shows across the UK (including three already held in Birmingham alone), the year old band, McBusted triumphed at their fourth and last show in Birmingham!

McBusted – the joint collaboration between one of our favourite group’s McFly and 2/3 of our childhood obsession Busted – performed at the LG Arena in Birmingham last night, much to the excitement of the energetic crowd!

Danny, Dougie, Matt, James, Tom and Harry (Left to Right) entertained the crowd immensely from beginning to end, with an array of Busted and McFly singles, including ‘Air Hostess’ & ‘Five Colours In Her Hair’, a Jackson 5 cover – which featured some pretty smooth moves from the lads, as well as a bunch of much loved innuendos and dirty jokes!

With a line-up of McFly and Busted members, it was obvious that the lads were going to pull out all the stops. However, unlike the previous Birmingham shows, which featured a number of songs on top of a UFO above the sound desk.

That’s right people, McBusted performed on a UFO.

The last Birmingham show were left to question where the UFO had disappeared to, as many of us had spoken so highly of this section of the show!

However, not all was lost as the Busted boys showed up on stage in a DeLorean (and we’ll forever wonder whether it was the real one… if so, we’re jealous!)

And three inflatible boobs turned up during their performance of ‘Year 3000’ – Probably wasn’t the best show for the young people attending.

The relentless energy from the McBusted group was shared by their highly intense and dedicated fans as everyone in the venue screamed, sang and cheered to their hearts content.

The sixsome rounded off their incredible setlist with McFly’s ‘All About You’ and Busted’s ‘Crashed The Wedding’, which has us oldies reminiscing about the good ‘ol days, while still singing and dancing along.

With a McBusted album on the way, we wish the boys all the best in the future, whether that be in their respected groups or McBusted!

And we definitely recommend that you see them at your next given opportunity!

The Vamps – ‘Last Night’

Last_Night_The_Vamps

The Vamps made up of Brad, James, Connor and Tristan are the ones to watch out for this year!

They are rapidly becoming the next big British (boy)band with their legion of loyal teenage fans supporting them endlessly.

They have created quite a stir in the UK and America and were recently crowned MTV’s Brand New for 2014 winners.

After their success with ‘Can We Dance’ and ‘Wild Heart’ charting in the top ten of the UK single charts, The Vamps are back with ‘Last Night’ which was released…last night (What a coincidence).

Last Night is one of those immediately catchy songs which has you singing … and if you’re like us dancing around your room and mumbling the lyrics for hours afterwards.

The instant ‘oh, oh, oh’s’ put you in a great, feel good mood and Brad’s cheery up beat vocals leave you wanting to listen over and over again.

“Wake up in the morning with the sunlight in my eyes, no my head don’t feel so bright, what the hell happened last night” sets up a light hearted and care free party vibe and teamed with the video, leaves fans wanting a night out with The Vamps.

Fans of the quartet were also ecstatic over the addition of vocals from Bassist, Connor – although his vocals are difficult to tell apart from lead-singer Brad.

Whether you are a fan of The Vamps or not, Last Night is just one of those songs you will instantly be singing along to.

We’re Glad You Came, The Wanted!

After ten Top 10s, eight Top 5 singles and two platinum selling albums, The Wanted performed at their last UK show before their upcoming hiatus at the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham last night!

The fivesome came to Nottingham as part of the UK leg of their Word of Mouth tour for their last show in the UK before their extended hiatus!

Jay, Siva, Max, Nathan and Tom (Left to Right) both entertained and upset (only with the thought of their adventure ending) the crowd, with a range of songs from their four year career, including ‘Glow in the Dark’ and ‘Heart Vacancy’, all while saying goodbye to their dedicated fans.

With the gig scheduled on April Fools – many pranks occurred much to the amusement of the audience, including a guest appearance from Martin ‘Rihanna’ Wright – though she sure has changed quite dramatically – the band’s ex-tour manager.

The band’s impressive set received a great reception from the fans who waited hours to see them perform for their final UK performance – many travelling from various locations around the world.

Relentless energy from both the band and their eager fans was shared throughout the night as everyone in the arena sang their hearts out to the familiar tracks.

The fivesome’s first two Number One singles: ‘All Time Low’ and ‘Glad You Came’ rounded off the band’s amazing setlist, which kept the crowd dancing and singing the night away – we certainly did!

Like all of their fans – we wish the group all the best in the future!

We sincerely hope that the lads make a large comeback soon! Their energy and performance is relentless and entertaining and we definitely recommend them!
