The track which landed into our inbox’s yesterday showcases Nathans smooth and sultry vocals, leaving us all swooning around the office and wishing that he’d just love us all that little bit more.

‘More Than You’ll Ever Know’ marks the start of Nathan’s solo career, after The Wanted took an extended hiatus earlier last year and we have to say it was a track we were highly anticipating.

Baby Nath took to twitter to reveal that his first single will be available from spring this year … you heard us that’s NOT too long to wait. However as we had all been waiting so very patiently he couldn’t help but surprise us with MTYEK.

We’d cross Bridges for EofE!

On November 15th, EofE returned to Birmingham for their very own headline tour, much to the delight of their dedicated fans, most of which waited over 8 hours to see the lads perform.

The Black Country based band came to perform a sold-out show in Birmingham as part of their Unleashed Tour, which comes after the lads supported McBusted and The Vamps only month before.

The group, consisting of Luke, Nicky, Tom, Reece and last, but certainly not least Dan (Left to Right), entertained the highly dedicated group of fans in the sold-out, packed venue with a range of original and cover tracks, including ‘If Only Your Boyfriend Knew’ and Adele’s ‘Rolling in the Deep’.

However, before the young pop rocks graced the stage with their incredible performance and addicting stage presence, Of Kings and Captains, The Fuse and McFly’s Danny Jones’ sister VIX, all of which wowed the ecstatic crowd with their support sets.

The venue became completely deafening when the lads finally emerged on stage, kicking off with their debut single Lust, which reached number eight in the UK rock singles chart.

The lads energetic set featured a number of incredible tracks, all of which seemed to be fan favourites, judging by the crowds reactions as they erupted into cheers at the beginning of each track and proceeded to scream the lyrics back to the boys throughout.

The incredibly talented band made sure that the crowd were thoroughly entertained with a short rendition of Fall Out Boy’s ‘Sugar, we’re goin’ down’ straight after their lively performance of their own track ‘Kiss me like you mean it’ and a number of other tracks!

EofE rounded off their amazing performance with their newest release ‘Bridges’, which is available to download for free on the bands website – So make sure you check that out and download it while you can!

We definitely recommend going to see the EofE lads live as they have a bright future ahead of them, with a possible debut album on the way and an already impressive arsenal of tracks; no doubt it’ll be an incredible night much like this one!

Introducing Marianas Trench…

We Brumoters love a good sassy, group of musicians and our recent obsession Marianas Trench are no different!

Not only are these lads able to pen incredible songs (most with a hint of sass – including their newest tune Pop 101, which references Justin Timberlake, Ke$ha, Mumford & Sons, Jason Derulo and more!), but they’re also pretty sassy on Twitter!

The Canadian pop rock band is made up of (from Left to Right) – Mike Ayley (Bassist & vocalist), Josh Ramsay (Lead Singer & rhythm guitarist – who also helped pen Carly Rae Jepsen’s summer hit ‘Call Me Maybe), Ian Casselman (Drummer & backing vocalist) & Matt Webb (Lead guitarist & vocalist), who we believe are going to take over the UK with their incredible tracks (though this is as soon as they decide to come to the UK… that’s right lads, we’re waiting!).

Although a few of our Brumoters had found this group nearly 7 years ago, when the band released their debut studio album – they only recently re-discovered the band after the release of their latest tune

And they lads are yet to officially release their albums and tour over here in the UK.

Though if the group are to announce a UK/European tour, we will announce the details for you all!

Kingsland Road – Dirty Dancer EP

After a stint on last year’s X Factor and writing with some AMAZING music producers, Kingsland Road are back with their debut single AND EP for you to feast your ears on.

At Brumotions, we are here to give you a track by track breakdown of what to expect for the 4-track EP and we have to say that we were more than pleasantly impressed!

kingslandtoputonblog

Dirty Dancer:

As the lead single from the EP – Dirty Dancer is instantly catchy and shows off the group’s fun personalities. It’s a great summer anthem, which will put you in a good mood and leave you singing along.

Though we’re still not sure what a Cherry Chancer is… (Comment your ideas below!)

The song is somewhat different to the sound we had previously heard from the band during their time on the X Factor and it cements their place within the music industry as the band they always wanted to be, however, we do miss those cheesy dance moves.

Walk Away:

Walk Away is the edgiest track by far, detailing a failed romance, the beat of this track builds and falls to showcase the smooth and faultless vocals of the band.

The track has a great likability and is a great crowd-pleaser during live shows and seems to set them apart from the other countless boybands on the market.

Shoreline:

Shoreline is a bouncy, upbeat track, which makes you want to dance along to the infectious beat.

The track gets off to a slow start but builts into a song, which you can’t help but keep playing on repeat.

The song showcases the vocals of each member and the addition of Connor’s rap gives the song a great dynamic and summery feel.

Never Too Late:

Never Too Late is the slowest song on the EP and shows a different side to the normally energetic lads that we’ve grown to love. However, it’s a great ending song for the EP and leaves you wanting to hear more from the boys.

Kingsland Road’s Dirty Dancer EP is available NOW on iTunes and Amazon!

MKTO – ‘Classic’

American duo Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller, who together form the group MKTO are FINALLY joining the UK music scene with their amazing track ‘Classic’, which was released here in the UK on June 29th.

The track has been released in a number of countries, including the US over a year ago, but it’s finally popped across the pond after a year and it was well worth the wait!

However, if you’ve been keeping up with our Brumotions Playlist of the Week, this incredibly catchy pop track has featured in our playlist on two separate occasions!

Classic is an amazing, party, pop track with a great beat that is enjoyable to listen to and certainly to sing along to.

Although the lyrics are considerably cheesy, the message stands out among the majority of the tracks that are currently taking over the UK charts.

The lyrics present a feel-good factor for all the ladies (including those here at Brumotions!) as the two handsome lads that make up the group are telling them they’re one of a kind in this era and they’re ‘classic’ ladies, like Marilyn Monroe and that they will treat them like such: “Ima pick you up in a Cadillac, like a gentleman, bringing glamour back. Keep it real, real in the way I feel. I could walk you down the aisle.”

‘Classic’ is the PERFECT debut track that MKTO could have chosen to introduce themselves to a UK audience and we have no doubt that this talent showcasing tune will be entering the UK chart fairly soon and we wish the lads all the best!

MKTO is an incredible, young and fresh group who we believe will have a great career both in the US and here in the UK!

Classic is available NOW!
