The news was confirmed in a statement from RCA Records, Reign Deer Entertainment, Robin Antin and Kemosabe Records on Saturday.

The statement read: “We are deeply saddened by the tragic news of the loss of Simone Battle of G.R.L.

“Simone was an exceptional young talent and human being and we are all devastated to learn of her passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones at this time.”

The news was first reported by the producer Derek Butler, who shared a picture of the star, writing: “I’m still in shock and in disbelief to have confirmed the death of my childhood friend @SimoneBattle,”

Demi Lovato – ‘Neon Lights’

Demi Lovato is back!

Showcasing her incredible vocal ability and talented writing skills with the release of her amazing new single ‘Neon Lights’, which features and has been re-released off her fourth studio album Demi.

Lovato, who found popularity through various movies on the Disney Channel: ‘Camp Rock’, by starring in ‘Sonny With A Chance’ AND from judging a number of contestants on the X-Factor USA (Including our favourites, Emblem 3!), has released the fourth track from her album on June 15th here in the UK.

Neon Lights is a catchy, upbeat electropop dance track, conveying the message of living in the now as there is no time like the present, along with Lovato’s lifelong belief with self-confidence and ‘doing your own thing’: “Baby, when they look up at the sky. We’ll be shooting stars just passing by, you’ll be coming home with me tonight, we’ll be burning up like neon lights.”

Nothing to Lose with Emblem3!

Emblem3 wowed at their gig at the O2 Academy2 in Birmingham last night, much to the delight of their dedicated fans.

The Washington based trio came to Birmingham as part of the UK leg of their #Bandlife tour!

The group, consisting of Keaton, Drew and Wesley (Left to Right) entertained the energetic crowd with a range of songs from their debut and only album thus far: Nothing to Lose, including 3000 Miles and Teenage Kings.

The impressive set also contained a short acoustic performance by the trio, which gained a great reception from the fans, who sang along with the group’s relaxed version of ‘Riptide’.

Although the group entertained and impressed with their relentless energy and catchy tunes, much confusion was raised as no ‘special guests’ made an appearance, even though they were announced.

Plus the audience were left to wait for nearly two hours, inside the venue before the band performed.

The group, popularly known for appearing on the Second series of the X-Factor USA and making it to the semi-finals, finishing in fourth place didn’t have a large audience to entertained as they aren’t well-known here in the UK, but their eager fans made up the atmosphere considerably as the lads took to the stage.

We would definitely recommend going to see them live as you have nothing to lose when seeing this group of talented boys – they have the talent and an impressive setlist to make it far!
