Neon Jungle – ‘Welcome to the Jungle’

After taking over the UK and US with their singles Trouble and Braveheart, British girlband Neon Jungle are back with their third single, Welcome to the Jungle.

Made up of Shereen, Asami, Jessica and Amira, these girls are definitely one’s to watch out for as their sassy, electro-pop tunes are catchy, and memorable and you can dance to them all night long!

Although we love the single and we have no doubt it will be trapped in our heads for days to come, we were slightly disappointed in the lack of breakdown during the chorus.

The catchy track’s beat grows throughout the song, hinting towards a great breakdown during the chorus, but instead the flow is completely cut off and remains very simplistic before repeating itself.

What would have made a great electro-pop song – played in numerous clubs worldwide, with incredible vocals, which people are able to pin to the quartet instantly – was cut when the beat dropped to the simplistic and simply boring beat.

With the girls taking turns to show off their vocal ability through the song and even including a rap, we can’t help but dance along to the record as the ladies belt out the lyrics: “Boy, can you make me growl/With the wild things on the prowl/Welcome to the jungle”.

We have no doubt that the single will be trapped in your head for weeks to come.

Neon Jungle are definitely a group to look out for with great vocal talent and the ability to release good tracks!
